The CHA and its member trusts work hard to collaborate in the interests of Children and Young People, both across our membership, and working alongside our partners at every level – from national, to regional, to local.
Our member trusts play a lead role within their Integrated Care Systems, regional and specialist networks (including paediatric ODNs) on operational and strategic initiatives to support the health of children and young people.
We hold a quarterly Partnerships Board meeting to share news and views with our partners in child health, and our PMO team and co-chairs regularly check in with our partners to advance shared objectives, including:
The NHS England Childrens and Young People Transformation programme
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
The Federation of Specialist Hospitals, of which we are an associate member
The Getting it Right First Time Programme
We are also proud to be working with our first associate member trust in the devolved nations, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board
We are an informal NHS network hosted by Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust
